Overstories represents the overarching stories that build our understanding and connections to places and people, just like the overstory of a forest, where the branches of each individual tree connect to form a whole, interconnected web. Travel brings the world closer, increases our understanding of ourselves and others, and decreases the ‘foreign-ness’ with which it’s so easy to regard others. It can help build the overstories of our lives.
